Creative Direction and Product Design [Concept]

I developed the concept for an album titled ‘PHONY.’ I captured the cover photo first, then built a brand identity that complimented the simple but striking image. Because of the straightforwardness of the album’s title, I needed to use a typeface that would allow the word itself to be visually appealing. Then, to contrast the airy imagery of the cover, I created a dark marble pattern to be featured on merchandise like the CD and t-shirt.
